The descriptions below are of my taste and opinions. I will do my best in the written word to make these descriptions. Try a couple different buffalo jerky flavors today. I like to think JD jerky is the best on the planet. I have tried all the major brand jerky on the market that I have found. All the jerky is sold in 2 bag lots. The Buffalo Jerky: Slab Style.
Slab style jerky are thin pieces of meat snacks with a large width some up to an inch or even 2 inches. Thickness usually varies from 1/16 to an 1/8 inch.
Buffalo jerky slab original, most all the original jerky are very mild in taste. Including this buffalo original. If you are looking for spicy or sweet tasting jerky. The original is not it. Just a meat taste with no spices or pepper added.
With only 90 calories per serving 11 grams of protein and 380 milligrams of sodium.
Buffalo jerky slab peppered. Has plenty of pepper taste. And this pepper taste in the buffalo peppered jerky is not a juice or liquid added flavor. Clearly, It is real cracked pepper taste, and plenty of it.

Buffalo jerky slab teriyaki. The teriyaki taste in the buffalo teriyaki jerky is a very mild teriyaki. Some of the jerky I have tried has so much of the teriyaki flavoring added that it is overwhelming to the taste buds. JD buffalo teriyaki jerky has a nice mild teriyaki taste that lets you savor this meat snack.

The Buffalo Shredded Jerky: One of my favorites.
The shredded buffalo jerky is just that shredded, so you load your tin and carry it with you. Each bag comes with 2 plastic tins and can be loaded up to 4 times from each bag. Plenty of hickory smoked flavor in this shredded buffalo jerky. And this is real hickory smoke. Some jerky uses the liquid smoke flavor. Not this jerky, it is real hickory smoke. If you like a stout hickory smoked jerky, this is it.
Only 60 calories per serving with 10 grams of protein and 390 milligrams of sodium.
The Buffalo Os.
This buffalo jerky are called Os. The reason for that is that are disk shaped. Approximately 1/8 inch in thickness and approximately 1 and 1/2 inch in diameter. The buffalo Os jerky are the softest jerky JD has. Very soft texture and good bit of moisture content.

Buffalo Os red hot jerky flavor. Another one of my favorites. Ok, like it hot. these fine round disk shaped jerky will set you off to orbit the planet. Plenty of heat and excellent taste too. Very soft textured jerky. Take a bag to work and let your friends try one. That is the ones that like hot stuff.
